| More Information |
Faulty/broken power-pin connections are one of the most common issues with modern laptops. The problem is often caused after a power cord (or external PSU) is either kicked, pulled or bent whilst it is connected to the laptops power socket. Other causes include dry solder joints and even the usage of incompatible power-supplies.
Power-pin connections are rarely covered under manufacturers warranties and can be very expensive and time-consuming. In fact, most of the time the manufacturers will not repair such faults, and often opt to replace the entire motherboard. So don"t waste time and money, call-in or give us a call!
Power-pin related repairs are normally completed within 7 working days (depending on part availability) and generally costs between £60.00 and £80.00!
