Iron-out bugs, clear out viruses & spyware and improve overall performance with a PC Health Check.
Regular servicing can help avoid costly computer repairs and even data loss by pre-detecting failing hardware.
What Is a Computer Health Check?
Every health check consists of a series of standard diagnostics and maintenance procedures such as
hard drive and memory tests, physical inspection of your computer’s hardware and various software
tweaks in order to pre-detect failing hardware and improve overall performance.
Think of it as an M.O.T. and full service for your computer.
Naturally, everyone uses their computer differently and almost every setup is different (which is one of the best things about a PC),
so each health check is fully tailored in order to optimise performance accordingly.
How Do I Know If/When My Computer Needs Servicing?
Piror to servicing, common complaints from our customers include poor performance and lack of speed. Common programs and even Windows itself takes longer to start-up and shut-down. Sometimes it’s
unstable and appears to be suffering from intermittent “lock-ups” or BSOD’s (Blue Screens of Death).
Perhaps your computer’s noisier than usual? Perhaps you’re faced with annoying pop-ups everytime you connect to the Internet? If so, it’s probably time for a service...
By rule of thumb, we normally advise a full service aproximately every 1½ - 2 years.
How Long Does It Take?
Multivolt will aim to inspected your computer within 24 hours of processing. Although completion times may varey, most customers should allow approximately 6 to 7 hours for their computer to be fully serviced. Actual times may varey depending on individual
requirements, computer speed and part availability (where applicable).
How Much Does It Cost?
A complete comprehensive health check costs £40.00 (Inc. VAT) for all PC desktops, notebooks and netbooks. In the event that your computer would not benefit from a full service, we may advise a simpler, cheaper, memory upgrade (often applicable to low-end/entry-level systems running Windows Vista on 1GB RAM).
Don’t worry about any unexpected or ‘hidden’ costs. In the event of hardware failiure, we will ALWAYS contact you prior to undergoing any hardware repairs or replacements.
